Our Equipment ...What We Bring

Aerial Equipment

Most of our flights are flown with one of 2 DJI Mavic 3 drones.

Flights focusing on cinematics and individual stills tend to focus on DJI’s Mavic 3:

  • 4/3-inch camera (“CMOS”) sensor shoots:
    • 5.1K video at up to 50 frames per second and 4K video up to 120 frames per second.
    • 20 megapixel photos in JPG and/or RAW formats.
    • Extra sensitive in low light situations.
    • Up to 28x combined optical-digital zoom
  • OcuSync 3.0 HD transmission system for stable connectivity and reliability
  • Omni-directional obsticle sensing ensuring additional safety.
  • Nearly 45 minutes of flight time per battery.
  • Amazing stability even in gusty, unstable air.

For flights focusing on mapping and inspections, we tend to use DJI’s Mavic 3 Enterprise:

  • 4/3-inch camera (“CMOS”) sensor shoots:
    • One shot every 0.7 seconds allowing us to cover more area faster
    • Mechanical (“global”) shutter
    • RTK module provides up to centimeter level global accuracy
    • 20 megapixel photos in JPG and/or RAW formats.
    • Extra sensitive in low light situations.
    • Up to 28x combined optical-digital zoom
  • OcuSync 3.0 HD transmission system for stable connectivity and reliability
  • Omni-directional obsticle sensing ensuring additional safety.
  • Nearly 45 minutes of flight time per battery.
  • Amazing stability even in gusty, unstable air.

Our DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 drones continue to fly numerous missions for us. It features:

  • 1-inch camera (“CMOS”) sensor shoots:
    • 4K video at up to 60 frames per second.
    • 20 megapixel photos in JPG and/or RAW formats.
    • Mechanical shutter
  • OcuSync 2.0 HD transmission system for stable connectivity and reliability
  • 5 directions of obstacle sensing ensuring additional safety.
  • Nearly 30 minutes of flight time per battery.
  • Amazing stability even in gusty, unstable air.

Duplicate Aerial Equipment

You’ve worked hard to set up the location and the people involved, and of course you’ve lined up the best weather possible. The last thing either of us needs is an equipment failure. f(n)Gravity arrives to your location with two complete sets of aerial equipment. That means two drones, two controllers, two extra sets of props…you get the idea. We’ve never needed the backup (knock on wood), but if we ever do….

Batteries

It’s not enough to have a drone with a long-lasting battery. Most jobs take several hours so we travel with as many batteries as we believe should be needed PLUS a supplemental battery to recharge our other batteries.

Lots of Batteries Equals Lots of Flight Time

Ground Photography

Although you’re probably hiring us for our aerial expertise, some situations just beg for a ground photo or video. That’s why we also bring with us our ground photography equipment including our Canon 5D Mark IV with an autofocus, image stabilizer telephoto lens.
